The Calgary Winter Club includes a new addition to the existing Aquatic Centre. The addition consists of a 240m2 single storey splash park with a water slide.

For the purpose of performance compliance calculations, NECB 2017 allows additions to be considered by itself or with the existing building. Harmony Engineering helped the design team navigate through the energy modelling process of ‘additions’ and NECB 2017, successfully helping the team meet the minimum energy requirements of NECB 2017 performance path.
