Railtown Workforce Building

Railtown Workforce Housing is a six-storey residential building with 55 units, including two commercial retail units on the main floor and residential modular units on Levels 2 through 6. Harmony Engineering provided energy modelling services to ensure compliance with both the BC Energy Step Code and the Zero Carbon Step Code. The building is targeting Step 3 of the BC Energy Step Code and EL-2 of the Zero Carbon Step Code. Using advanced energy modelling tools, our team optimized the building’s energy performance and conducted design reviews, providing recommendations to meet energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emission targets.
