Harmony Engineering Studio

Harmony Engineering’s new studio space, was transformed from a large garage into a highly efficient workspace. The renovation included a deep energy retrofit, replacing the building envelope and mechanical systems to meet Passive House standards and prioritize low embodied carbon design. Locally sourced materials and suppliers played a key role, including FSC-certified wood from Harrop Procter Forest Products, Fenstür Windows, and a Mitsubishi mini-split heat pump installed by Canadian Aerothermal. Fresh air is provided by a Lunos heat recovery system, and hot water is heated on demand by Stiebel. The construction, completed by Slivers Construction, reflects Harmony’s commitment to sustainability and efficiency.
